‘Jaw-dropping spectacle’ as Bat Out Of Hell flies into the West End

Bat Out Of Hell The Musical, which features Winterson’s actress Eve Norris, received its press night at the London Coliseum this week to rapturous applause. Directed by Jay Scheib and featuring the timeless music of Jim Steinman, it’s a loud, high energy show with mainstream appeal.

Lead Winterson’s agent, Niki Winterson, attended the show in support of our client, Eve Norris, and you can view a selection of images from the opening night event on the Winterson’s Facebook page here. Additionally, the show has received some incredible reviews, and we’ve listed some of the most striking below.

“Resembling a feverish hybrid of We Will Rock You and Peter Pan, this unapologetically thunderous musical is a mighty showcase for the songwriting talents of Jim Steinman.”
Evening Standard ★★★★

“What swagger and songs it has.”
The Guardian ★★★★

“A rebellious streak runs through this batty show. It’s in the teenage characters fighting against authority and against adulthood, in the unconventional and rhapsodic structures of Jim Steinman’s knock-out songs, made famous by Meat Loaf. The show’s even rebelling against its own venue, this bonkers, hell-raising spectacle profaning the traditionally staid home of English National Opera.”
The Stage ★★★★

“A care-banishing blast of wild-child zaniness – Bat Out of Hell: The Musical.”
The Telegraph ★★★★
