Neil Salvage nominated for award at Madrid International Film Festival

Winterson’s actor, Neil Salvage, has been nominated for an award in the category of Best Supporting Actor in a Short Film at the Madrid International Film Festival 2017 (IFF).

Neil is nominated for his performance in short film Boat, which was originally screened at the VAULT Film Festival 2017 in London earlier this year. Directed by Daniel McGowan, the dark comedy is a two-hander that takes place between Salvage and other actor, Neil Grainger.

Speaking about the film when it debuted earlier this year, Salvage said: “I’m really delighted that Boat has been selected for the Vaults Film Festival. It’s a darkly funny film with a twist in its tail, and I play a mysterious and unwelcoming old man, trying to deal with an eccentric intruder on his boat… but all is not what it seems!”

A huge congratulations to Neil in receiving his nomination and we wish him all the best with the final vote.
